The book examines construction of mosques in Andalusia. It includes some of the northern regions (Argan and Navara), as well as the other provinces of Almeria, Malaga, Granada, Willaba, Qadash, Jian, and eastern Andalusia (Mercia, Alicante, and the Balearic Islands), all located in the region that was under Islamic Arab control for centuries. The book also includes a discussion on mosques in Extremadura and Portugal.
